Dr Dipangkar Das

Dr. Dipangkar Das is a Consultant in Internal Medicine Department at Siu-Ka-Pha Hospital. He had passed MBBS from GMCH, Guwahati. After completing his internship from GMCH, he had worked in mobile medical unit (MMU) under NHM in Sivasagar district, during which he experienced to travel to remote villages of Sivasagar and choraideo district and serve the poor and needy people. He also gave many health awareness talks in those area and work a lot for upliftment of health services in those areas. Then he did his post graduation in Medicine department in GMCH, during this period, he had managing innumerable cases in opd, emergency, ICU, ward, and geriatric unit.

He is also experienced in doing various medical diagnostic procedures like bone marrow aspirations and biopsy, lumbar puncture, septolysis, pleural tapping, ascitc tapping, ICD etc. He had also been actively involved in teaching undergraduate students. He had attended various health camps and academically kept himself updated by attending both state and national level conference.

During covid pandemic, he was actively involved in managing cases both in Sivasagar Civil Hospital and SSMH.

Dr. Dipangkar Das has special interest in infectious diseases and critical care medicine. He is always very enthusiastic in learning new things and treating various challenging aspects of his field. Being a person born and bought up in Sivasagar, Dr. Das, is very much keen to serve to people of his hometown and to provide the best quality care, and to work for health care upliftment of the area and he strongly belief that Siu-Ka-Pha Hospital is a best platform for this service.
