About Siu-Ka-Pha Hospital

Our Siu-Ka-Pha Multispeciality Hospital is based on the vision of our trust Baba Saheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratisthan (BAVP), Aurangabad. We strive to provide affordable, accessible, quality healthcare and treatments to every commoner. In addition to providing acute care and emergency treatments, the ONGC Foundation stands with us to offer high-quality tertiary care to people in need. The main aim of the Siu-Ka-Pha project is to provide quality healthcare facilities irrespective of people’s status.

Our hospital has over 300 beds, the latest equipment, modern infrastructure and smart technology to provide comprehensive care to the people of Assam and other North East parts of India. Our fully equipped state-of-the-art facilities include advanced diagnostics, Mammogram, helical multislice CT scan, 1.5 Tesla MRI, gold-standard modular OTs, a critical care unit for adults & children, physiotherapy & rehabilitation facilities, and pathology & microbiological labs. Above all, our dedicated and experienced medical professionals are the main pillar of support for serving needy people.

We understand the burning need of advanced healthcare facilities and super specialists in Upper Assam, Northeast India. The unfavorable socio-economic conditions of the tea garden workers, including  malnutrition, high prevalence of communicable diseases, poor living standards, a growing population, and inadequate health facilities are the biggest concerns of this segment of the population here. Moreover, due to remoteness of their locations, people are deprived of advanced healthcare services and they are forced to travel 80-90 Kms for medical services from Sivasagar and surrounding areas of Upper Assam. Either they have to travel to Dibrugarh or Guwahati or other parts of India for advanced healthcare needs. Our aim is to make healthcare accessible and affordable to all.

Our Siu-Ka-Pha hospital connects with the community and serves in multiple forms to propagate preventive health and early detection of diseases. This project aims to provide overall development of the community.
